the only address I can come up with is loans direct uk ltd - their address is :
81 Dane Road
Sale
Cheshire
M33 7BP
as the loan was sold prior to 2005 I would suggest that when you put in your complaint you also ask for a copy of the agreement as you won't be able to complain to the Financial Ombudsman service about the mis selling but you maybe able to make a complaint about the underwriters - so you'll need the agreement to find who the underwriters are
Hi thanks for this ,im pretty sure it was from northern rock and it was paid off 2006 but what threw me was loans direct who the payments was requested from maybe they collect loan payments for northern rock ????
i am going to request a copy of agreement i think i will give them a ring tommorrow and see if i can find out Thanks Again Sunny0 -
Hi, I am going to claim back my mis-sold ppi from rbs were do i send the letter to the branch I got the loan from or there head office ?
Thanks0 -
When sending off the form to the FOS, should I send a copy of the original agreement showing details of insurance costs and the breakdown of payments?
I am claiming for my sister on a loan which she was heavily encouraged to take out the PPI by the telesales person.
I have just been reading through the agreement in depth and have spotted a tiny sentence which reads:
(A) Insurance loan details To finance the premium, (inclusive of insurance premium tax) payable to insurers for optional loan protector insurance in relation to the agreement against the death, accident, sickness or unemployment of ************ (the insured) in accordance with the banks loan protector insurance leaflet.
Is this sentence enough for them to reject her claim and is it still worth pursuing?
Thanks in anticipation of your greatly appreciated help0 -

Hi there;)
Have the final decision been given from the bank before going the FOS direction?
I would photocopy anything you have in evidence to enclose with the FOS complaints form, to help support your case.
These front loaded policies are very costly indeed.
I would though if you've not done so yet check for any other reasons that may apply, you will find in the link here below in case anything is missed.

:rotfl:thanks for the reply sorry for being a bit dense but you do,nt mean keep putting all the account numbers on for each claim.
Also all these loans are for the same bank they have been consolidated over and over and every time ppi added will there being a lot make any difference. He has definitely been missold because on 2 seperate occasion he has been told no loan without ppi and also its just been added without asking him so he thought he had to have it everytime0 -

Write all the account numbers at the top of the same letter, especially if all the reasons for why he was mis sold were the same.:D;):)

Just got letter today to say we has won our claim against Picture Loans for the £11,700 PPI Premium they put on our loan that only covered us for 5yrs even though the loan was for 25yrs. We have got the premium back and just short of £3k intrerest back so not far short of £15k. Well happy so anyone fighting for Comp dont give up:beer:. Thanks for the letters Martin they were used to kick start this, can't thank you enough. This stupid Homeowner loan has nearly cost us our house and our marriage.
Thanks to everyone who has offered advice to uson this site!!!!:j:T0
