 Can anyone give me some help. I have just went onto my online banking to admire my PPI money & they have took it back
They paid it straight to my cc account on Thursday & today they have taken it back out. I feel a bit sick - any ideas or opinions posted while I go away & throw up will be appreciated
Hi Finatra
Print this statement out if you have a printer!
Are they 24 hour banking?
If so call them as soon as you can, in my opinion they should not have done this and no notice and there should be no reason why they should have done this.
Call them hun.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Get on the 24 hour line if they have one, which i'm sure they do. Does it say who has recalled it, got to be a mistake!!!! Did you request it to be paid direct to your CC account, could it have been put in another account!dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

If you look at the thread here

and go down to melorblacks post you will see she has explained it in a credit card redress.
Don't know for sure if this has happened with yours but it may have done.0 -
Thanks Di , Buzbyh & Marshallka
Exactly as is Melorblacks post (same bank too) Apparantly it's so that there is a permanent record in the credit card of the redress & then they are drawing a cheque from this & sending as a cheque as I have not had any arrears with the account. The mad thing is i will need to wait till the cheque clears & then pay it pay to the cc account as this was what I had planned to do with the money anyway:rolleyes:
Thanks for the advice - I really got a fright :eek::eek: when I noticed. I will need to have a few glasses of wine to calm my nerves now:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
This PPi malarky is costing me a fortune in booze:beer:
Ah well x-factor & red wine the perfect Saturday night in:D0 -

Glad that's sorted finatra, can always depend on marshallka to come up with the right answer:Abut wouldn't you think they would have explained that to you at the start!! save all the worry.
We'll have a few with you, while we are watching X Factor too.
Don't know why they have to go all round the world though and give us all heart attacks in the process:mad::mad:dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
I think I got such a fright cos I haven't received a breakdown in writing & it was quite a bit more than I expected!
I thought they had noticed & took it back0 -
Hi Guys
I hope this is the correct forum for my question
Having read in the PPI successes forum and this one about missold PPI I am ivestigating possibly trying a misssold claim on my fist plus loan. thing is having read all the notes on the front page I can only see a couple of possible reasons for claiming. I was mostly my total stupidity that I took out this loan and PPI in the first place so If I have to live with it its my stupid fault/
PPI was £19000 and was taken out at the same time as my loan 38 months ago. I knew it only covered 5 years and was certainly not told I had to take out the insurance. The only poss claims I thnk I may have are
1- At no time was I offered a monthly policy or advised I could take other better fit cover
2- The nature of the cover IE single payment was not in my best interest
I just wondered if its worth even trying under these circumstances or indeed has anyone been sucessful in claiming under these condition
Thanks everyone for any kind assistance or advice you can give.0 -
Hi Guys
Hello and welcome.
I hope this is the correct forum for my question
Yes your in the right place.;)

The main of us have been there, so not to worry, and in regards of First Plus there are stacks on here who have complained and tried reclaiming, so with your reasons you go for it, being sold these "Single rip off policies is a complaint alone, without your other reasons, but best to write all that does apply to you.
Was this actually arranged and sold by First Plus, or did you have a broker?
If so whoever sold you this finance is the ones to write to.

Yes defo do go for it, you do have your reasons and its a lot of money, even though they told you that it only covers you for 5 of those years, did they not explain that you would still be paying for the PPI for the remainder of the years where the remaining years you would not have been protected.
Even if they did tell you this, its a rip off, and if there was another person on the loan, it probably only protected the first one named.
Thanks everyone for any kind assistance or advice you can give.
There are probably more complaints in regards of First Plus than any other company.
Link here for you to follow with guidelines of reclaiming and letter templates, of course please post up for help if required and post all letters by recorded delivery, for your proof of posting, good luck.;)
