PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

Help please......

1st letter sent to Close Car Finance, which had PPI unknowingly added, through an independant car dealershi.p

Have recieved a reply from Close stating they have forwarded my letter to the car dealership concerned as it is their (the dealerships) responsibility to act on my complaint.

Two things concern me:

1) I am not sure the dealership if still operating, if so, does this mean I have no where to go?

2) Isnt it Close Motor Finance responsibility as the beneficiaries of the PPI?

i HAVE PAID ABOUT 600 QUID ON A 2500 FINANCE DEAL?!!!

Hi there

If the company (the ones responsible for selling you the finance), it may be worth checking to see if they are listed with the financial compensation scheme, known as the FSCS, if they are and you have a claim, then you can claim through these, they will by arrangement sell you the claim form, give them a call here, not sure if they are open today or not, unless they are working overtime, but other than that call them in the week next week if you can.

What is the actual name of the business that sold you the finance if you don't mind me asking, I will try checking this out to see if they are still active for you.;)

Hi I have 3 cases with the fos at the minute what the average time scales for these do they take longer for some than others ?

Thanks....they are called Bath Road Motorhouse.

I cannot find out whether they are still trading and cant seem to get any results off google.

Hi hun.
Hope your well.;)

In my experience, the longest part of waiting is that when being passed on to the Adjudicator, once its in their hands, they do try to deal with your complaints by about 6-8 weeks (Approx), however it may take longer, if the case becomes complexed it can also take as long as 18 months or so, but if straight forward say about 8 weeks etc.;)
As they do have very large volumes of these complaints.

Hopefully you will hear sooner rather than later with a good result.

FYI - Close Motor Finance did say they had forwarded my original letter to them but I wanted to send my own recorded delivery letter....just in case

:eek: Can anyone give me some help. I have just went onto my online banking to admire my PPI money & they have took it back
They paid it straight to my cc account on Thursday & today they have taken it back out. I feel a bit sick - any ideas or opinions posted while I go away & throw up will be appreciated
