  • hi guys hope you are all keeping well, not been on in a while.

I found my loan documents for my Natwest loans today.

    Found out my PPI info

Loan one £3907.20 with interest. This loan was paid off with my second loan.

Loan two £8742 with interest this loan is a 60 month loan about halfway through.

Are PPI payments front loaded on loans? Just trying to work out how much of the PPI I'll have paid? ie work out what I am likely to be owed...

    Thanks all.

    Hi Daz

    Hope your well.

I think they would have been front loaded onto the loans, so the payment would be within the loan monthly repayment.

Do you have the agreements to these?
I think the amount of ppi would be shown on these separate to the loan but the monthly repayment shown together sort of thing.;)

  • Hi Di

I am fine thanks, yep I have the agreements and it shows the totals I list oh its actually £7404 with inc interest not £8742 for the second loan.

Then it shows the loan payment and a seperate figure for the ppi payment.

What I dont get is how they work out the refund, do they give you all the ppi back, and keep payments the same? Or work out how much of the ppi you have paid and reduce the payments going forward, ie deduct the rest the ppi payments off.. sorry been a long day,

    Hi
    Glad your okay.

Now this depends if the loan is still active or not, for settled accounts, they will refund all you have paid in PPI, and if they gave a rebate on settlement by reducing the loan balance - you get the remaining of the PPI, plus interest etc.

On active accounts, its all you have paid in ppi and then the monthly repayments should be reduced.

Does that make any sense? lol.....

I think Robbedofmymoney will be better at explaining this one, if he's about.:D;)

  • Thanks Di, my first loan was consolidated with the second loan, so in reality i guess I will have paid all the ppi by covering it with the second loan, i see what you mean about unsettled accounts.. i am just trying to figure out how much of the PPi I'll have paid so far :)
