PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

hi all, I'm new here and would like to share with you my experience on claiming. I claimed back ppi from Egg banking last feb,2009. it has taken until march 2010 for the obudsman to rule in my favour, I am owed about £1800. the obudsman gave Egg until June 2010 to repay. However, Egg still haven't paid up and when I chased up the obudsman they told me they had no jurostiction over when this money would be paid back. Has anyone any experience of this situation and has anyone got any ideas of how I can get my money back? it seems to me as if Egg are just openly flaunting the ruling made against them.
Thanks everyone.0 -
Bugsy, any luck with hearing from Lloyds since yesterday honey?
:j:j
Hi again Di,
I found the number you previously posted to me and then got redirected to the PPI complaints team.
The 0845 602 4501 number takes you to the complaints team in Wales who had no reference of my complaint, so they said it must be with the complaints team in Brighton but they have no contact numbers.
Then they proceeded to tell me that they dont even know the email address for Brighton so the best I can do is write to them.
Can you also believe that the Lloyds phone number above gives you the option to complete a short automated satisfaction survey!!!!!!!!
I have spoken to the FOS and they are going to see if Lloyds will give me a direct line contact number, and to confirm that Lloyds have received all the relevant paperwork from them.
They have said that it may take them a bit longer than normal to calculate 23 years of redress as they may have to get the required information from an outside agency, although I have said that they were quick enough to find the original form I signed back in 1987 to try and refute my complaint, so the statements should be as easy to find!
Lloyds are really starting to **ss me off now but I will stay calm.............deep breaths...0 -

Hi Bugsy
Sorry I have not long signed in.:o;)
That number I gave you was the one on my letters and on the emails they used to send me, and as it was hubby that used to ring them he did if I remember mention something about surveys..........honestly!!!
The FOS I assume would have the contact details for Brighton, but there is another email to Internet banking at lloyds, can't remember if they were reliable or not though to get back.
Internet.Banking@lloydstsb.co.uk
or
com
And wow with all that money you have coming back as well......:T, they want to get started then don't they?:D espcially if the fos states it may take some time.
So that call was nothing to do with this issue at all then?
The muppets they are.
Hope this is sorted out sooner rather than later, you have already waited long enough, they are quick enough paying out loans do you think?;)XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"

First letter posted to Lloyds at Brighton.
Second email sent to Lloyds Customer Care and Eric Daniels.
Will post a letter every 3 days if not had a response and will email every 2 days.
Waiting for a call back from the FOS to see if Lloyds will allow me to contact them directly by phone.(God help Lloyds if they do!!)
I will give Lloyds 4weeks from the 28th July to compensate, as per the FOS guidelines, but if they become obstructive I will seriously consider instructing bailiffs to collect the monies on my behalf.0 -
Today I've posted two letters to Natwest (one for the original loan and the other for the one i consolidated with), at the PPI query address in Manchester, 40 mins in the Queue at the PO, ridiculous.
Also, I have checked and Egg have signed for the letter i sent them on saturday.. so here's waiting hey.0 -
Theres athought, i wonder if you could employ a debt collector? they owe you money and if it was the other way round you would be contacted by a debt collector.Hope you dont have to wait more than the 4 weeks for this, as you have suffered enough and i think you deserve an end to this now xxxxFirst letter posted to Lloyds at Brighton.
