    Part of the Furniture
Just had my email for my Feb 2nd order:D
Everything else all there and now feeling all excited! It's like being a kid at Christmas and seeing your pressie all wrapped up and not being able to prod, poke and feel it:)

I know the feeling:rotfl:There's a golden syrup cake in the kitchen calling my name now:p
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!

As for Foodbargains there is another thread at
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=18672703#post18672703
(see you posted on there chelle) might just be me but looks a bit suss to me !

Dan might be struggling at he mo` but we are all to blame for that by being tight:rotfl: me included (had two order and two in the system) but at least he has contact details good prices and the sense to keep in touch with us!!

Foodbargains don't seem to have been around long enough to submit any accounts to Companies House either....

Sorry if this is a stupid question, it wouldn't be my first, :p but what is Companies House? Are you saying that you think they might not be a real company?

Maybe Foodbargains online name is different to their warehouse name, Approved Foods is also called Crags Cash and Carry is it not? I don't understand why everyone seems to think they are somehow fake or dodgy, there were people who also thought the same of Approved Foods back in the beginning of the other thread and that wasn't the case either. Unless anyone has actual proof of dodgy dealings I think it's best not to make accusations, on that note, has anyone bought from them yet? If people saw that others had bought from them with no problems it might help...
  • Been trying for last 3 hours to get on my emails to check my delivery from AF but virgin email is down!!!! oh i wanna see if i get presents coming!!!!

Our BT broadband was down from Saturday night until this morning, apparently they were 'upgrading' something, why does that always make things worse? I really want to place another order with AF but they seem to have run out of honey. I wonder if I should risk waiting to see if they get more in, but then I might miss out on lots of other goodies!

Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Hmm that's odd, they still have satay kits on the web site, one of my favourites! I was going to order a load more of them.
  • I've just had an email to say I am getting a refund from my order of 3rd Feb as the chilli ketchup is out of stock. I phoned to ask if I could have something else instead but the DHL van had just been to pick the boxes up so it was too late. Apparently they are still planning to have a box on the website where you can opt to have substitutions if you want them but it won't happen for a couple of weeks or so. It's a shame as I'm paying the higher delivery charge but won't be able to make the most of the weight allowance. Still, I know they are really doing their best and these things will all get ironed out as time goes by. I just would have loved to cram that box with a few more goodies! :D

And yes, I totally agree it's like being a kid at Christmas again :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
