We popped into the warehouse today its very small but well worth a visit. they have things on the shelf that are not on the website maybe they have limited supplies of some things and don't want to let people down. I picked up the honey and the del monte orange juice among other things.
The staff were lovely and very helpful
They take cheque as well as cash0 -

look in your inboxes guys i and i am sure the rest of you will have had the latest email shot from dan. He is introducing a additional service for heavy parcels. 56kg and its about £7.50 i think. Double the weight for more goodies and not twice the postage. Well done guys.0

Thanks for the info. Not got email yet so wouldn't have spotted this until next made order.
Main site has the full info on its Delivery charge info page http://www.approvedfood.co.uk/delivery-charge-3-w.asp
This is currently only available England and Wales,
56kg minimum @ £7.50 with £3.50 for each extra 28kg
(says £3.75 per extra 28Kg for other courier on same page so could be error)
Dan's staff better invest in hernia supports, as I think they will be getting some large and heavy orders soon0 -
There doesn't seem to be much of anything in stock at the moment, I was just going to do an order to take advantage of the new delivery charge but I'd struggle to get up to 25kg never mind 56kg! Will have to keep checking over the next few days0

Received this by e-mail this morning.
It’s been some time since we sent out a mail shot and for many of you this will be the first one. Normally we include lots of new items that have just arrived. However this email is to tell you about a new courier service that is suited to shipping heavier loads. It’s an additional service and not one that replaces the existing £5.25 national delivery or off shore islands.
As from today we can ship 56kg (123 lb) of shopping for £7.50, plus £3.75 for every 28kg thereafter. Unfortunately right now it is only available to England and Wales but we will be extending this area shortly.
It makes offers like the Del Monte Orange juice more attractive as these goods really bump up the weight of the basket.
We’ve got a much better stock control system in place now and are operating around the clock to fulfill orders.
Please tell your friends and family about our service and if they wish (like you) they can register for our email shots.
If there are any promotional codes or advanced notices of products coming in you will hear about them in future mail shots.
Many Thanks
Dan
