Couldn't cope with my 3 year old & 16 month old & serious money saving at the same time:p (& it might be an idea to wait till after I have this one coz I'm 33 weeks pregnant:D). Hmmm.... think I need to order more chocolate!!:p

 I can see you now....having a baby on the floor of Dan's warehouse, just think of the publicity!!!! Please wait and go AFTER the baby comes! We don't want our orders backing up again lol :p
    I haven't had a newsletter either btw...hmmmmm

I wonder if they will be getting more stock of the Turkish flower honey? I really want some of that! :D If anyone is at the warehouse can you please ask Dan if there will be any more coming soon? :p

The honey was on the shelves in the warehouse yesterday
    Nice to save.

I will be popping up there in April and i live in Essex
Have decided that with the wait and so on as we are off to Buxton for the week we will do a detour on the way home not too far off our path do they take maestro or is it cash only?
It's cash only in the warehouse :D
We're going to pick our son up in Leeds next month so will be detouring again on our way back to London to pick up some bargains.

Went to visit Dan at Approved Foods today and he was working his little socks off. He is trying to sort out the backlog of orders as fast as he can.

He is a really nice guy and I could have talked to him all day, but let him get on with packing orders and receiving the new stock. ;)

I had a lovely chat with Dan at Approved Foods, my first order came as predicted. The second was longer and I was wondering what had happened. THis was after the word got around here what a good deal AF are. He said that Martin's staff were nattering at him to let it go on the weekly newsletter, but things were getting rather too busy for him anyway.

Basically WE/MSE are responsible for the delays. We started to order at a phenomenal rate. THis type of success couldn't have been predicted I don't think, as far as he was concerned. I mean, you can't buy that sort of advertising.

I have been satisfied with everything about the service, goods are really well packed and good value for money. I'm sure it will all settle down. You know what it's like when you've ordered something mail order -you want it to come YESTERDAY ! LOL! Unfortunately internet deals mean that you do have to wait for stuff to be delivered. You can go to a shop and pay full price, it's your choice.

  • I think AF is really going downhill I ordered on the 2nd Feb and just had an email stating refunds!

I ordered 87 items and 2 are out of stock:rotfl: :rotfl: how bad is that?

Never mind my next order is already in wonder if I will see a big improvement or not:D
  • should have recieved my order today, but on the dhl tracking thing its been sent to glasgow:o

they sent my parcel in the wrong direction should have come down south...

will take anotehr nose at the site to see if there is anything new put on today to cheer me up...:D any excuse to see if the bakin boy cakes are back in stock:rolleyes: :D
Work to live= not live to work
  • I had 9 items out of stock (some of which I had ordered multiples) which meant whan adding the postage, it wasn't such a fantastic saving. Hoping the service will improve after a few teething problems and would certainly give it one more try. The pure orange fruit shoots looked dodgy (bit brown) but everything else was great value.

You went all the way to Yorkshire from Cornwall?? (It is in Yorkshire right?) Surely it would not be worth it after the petrol? Would you not have been better splitting the postage? I am speechless...(doesn't happen often) We decided it was not worth driving as it would take just over 2 hours from Lancashire...:p

we were close by visitin friends etc so thought wed call in while we were close lol. but tbh it is worth the petrol an time if uve got a decent sized car or van as there is so much more choice once there an the bargains can be better coz ure not payin 4 some1 2 pack your things, choose them etc.
