Can't get any info on ours until 8am which is a pain - seems unlikey given that we have 8" snow, and forecast is more snow and frost for tonight. They didn't even tell local radio they were closed today - I had to ring up to find out  !
I also gave up on flying. Still catching up on the washing but that is about it. Waiting for DS1 to go to sleep then off a long Lush bath.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

The details should be on the internet - the bbc website has a list of schools that are closed. If it is closed, and isn't on there, send them the link and suggest that they find out how to get on there!0 -

I didn't sleep too well, but up early and rush hour wasn't too bad and the church was warm.
Good turn out. She was only 46! had been battling cancer for about six years. I knew her as a mature law student (sadly she never managed to complete her degree) and two of the Law Dept and at least four of her fellow students were there. I was OK till I saw her young son (only about 11) following the coffin.
