pigpen whats the verdict on the new cooker then??? and what about your cleaner - I keep asking but you havent answered - did she start and is it helping???? I hope you wont be tooooooooooo mean to us tomorrow - Its always a worry when you have an idea:rotfl: :rotfl: could we have the main bedroom tomorrow because I know I can spend all day at it pleeeeeease pigpen?

Tomorrows list is already up.. sorry.. any other day you can squeeze the bedroom in?

The new cooker cooks things.. it looks fabulous.. and it'll do.. I think I may love it once my kitchen twinkles

The cleaner I am hoping to get started after I have paid off a few debts once my insurance cheque comes.. those payments will save me £410 a month so the £14 for the cleaner each week will be a doddle... so it will be a couple of weeks yet.. and I need to tidy up before she comes..

  • Hi,

Hope everyone is well & welcome newbies/returners. Since my last post I've done more errands & laundry. My aim for the rest of the evening is probably to do some more errands
  • Evening all...

Well, I got to work - 9.30am instead of 9am, but I left at 7.30am so twice as long as usual, but for once didn't have the hump driving down as it was soooo beautiful... Everywhere I looked was lovely so it was really nice, and tonight I got home in less than an hour because there was absolutly NOTHING on the road - this was the M25 at 5.20pm... Unheard of!!!

So am about to have Dinner and then have more paperwork to do but should be some time for flying - Kitchen and lounge pretty tidy, so I have shortened my list to stuff that will get done...

Monday - Living room, hall and stairs!
    Level One
    Clear and wipe surfaces
    Polish all the glass things
    Level Two
    declutter and vacuum/mop the floors!
    Level Three
    De-web and de-fluff the room
    Extras
    wipe and water any plants
Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Empty and wash out bins
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
Clear and wipe table.. add a clean cloth if necessary!
    Extras
    S&S the oven and hob
    S&S the window sills
    My Extras
    1. Write a letter to insurance company to explain details fully
    2. Take all Virgin Vie stuff out of study cupboard and put on EBay
    3. Take all DVD’s/Videos out of study cupboard and put with others once sorted
    4. Enter at least 5 DVD’s/videos a day onto eBay ready for cheap listing day (whenever that is…)
    5. Make a list of everything that we want/need/desire for the near future and aim for one of them - I think we have fallen into a bit of a hole lately of just being skint and budgetting so need a light at the end of the tunnel to get us through... think it has to be something shiny too for the first one, rather than something we need...
    Business/Club Stuff
    1. Enter all invoices from previous months for SH onto new QB system
    2. Update Developer list and highlight those we already work with

No chance to catch up on thread or I'll get nothing at all done... May read up a bit later...

    Hope everyone's OK...

I've de-webbed & defluffed, and wiped the skirting/doorframes/window sill in the living room.

I'm now about to get the ironing board out for a HHI which should make the pile a bit more manageable. Once the board is up I'll be able to do bits and pieces throughout the day!

Keep hoping for another 'snow' day tomorrow but I don't think I'll be that lucky. It's been raining and a lot of the snow has gone. Will be bad tomorrow on the ice that's been forecast but I doubt if that will close the school
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.
