Spent over an hour (on and off - after all I am at work!!) getting quotes on-line for car insurance. Why is it dearer than last year when I've taken dh off as we don't need him as a named driver, I have made no claims, had no convictions and it's the same car??!!!!!!

Are you keeping the car at the same address? The post code can affect things. Have you tried going direct to the sites rather than comparison sites? Have you tried Mr T. Sometimes phoning can get you a better quote - churchill/direct line?

I've been doing really well with the bathroom - just the floor to go. Also cleaned out the carry thing which has my cleaning potions in - it was disgusting.

Car at same address as well dusty!!! How bizarre it all is. Going to ring company I currently have insurance with and see what renewal quote is going to be. I just looked on mse on how to go about getting quotes and have followed Martin's list.

I will try direct line etc as well, thanks for that x:T
