Question can someone please suggest the best thing to clean paintwork? When I tend to do it the paint normally comes off. Of course the marks all seem to stay.

I just wipe with a damp cloth... and gradually, after a few weeks, the dirt diasppears (but I don't have children in my house ;) )

Teleconference done... dehumidifier going... must put the heating on, get dressed and do some flying!

I'm trying to sort out some fundraising for a sponsored walk some of my colleagues and I are doing later this year. We're focussing on food-related fundraising (lots of men in the office), so heart-shaped biscuits & pink cupcakes for Valentine's Day and had thought about doing something for pancake day... but we don't have access to any cooking facilities in the office. I know we can make the pancakes in advance and freeze/defrost, but does anyone have any ideas as to how we could warm them up without a cooker?!

Flower - good to 'see' you on Facebook, do you mind if I put some more house photos on so I can pick your brains?

No you can't and don't ask again!!!! ;) (Only joking, honest!) Of course you can, am working on accounts at the moment as I really must get these done (well about to start, just done loads of little bits and pieces that I kept [strike]putting off[/strike] forgetting about so they're finally out of the way :D ) but I should have a bit more time later to look properly if that's OK...

I have PM'd you my email if you want to send them direct?

Morning all, not doing much today. Going to have a quick whizz through with the duster and hoover to make the place presentable, I have work 4-9.30 tonight and then again 1-8.30 tomorrow and always seem to have no time to sit down over the weekend. So I have decided to do minimal flying on a friday(unless its desparatly needed) and to leave instructions for DP and kids to tidy up after themselves!!!
He wonders why I am in a strop when I come home from work on a saturday night to a sink full of dishes and no visible worktop space..... Am I being unreasonable to expect at least a tidy kitchen!!! He is a grown up afte all!!!

Sorry, went a bit ranty then.
    Catch up later!

    Morning all

It started snowing here last night and it's still snowing now. We may actually get the night off work, I've got to wait for a phone call at 4.30pm. Fingers crossed.

I've dusted the living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs. One load of washing done and draped round the radiators.

I made a fruit cake (from a recipe somebody put on here yesterday, sorry I can't remember who it was). I haven't tried any yet but it looks and smells lovely.

Just checked, it was Flylady-Flower (thank you :))

Off to catch up with posts.
  • HHC at 11.30 anyone?

Mine is really a HHP - that is half hour publishing,. I'm putting a newsletter together and frankly not getting very far as am not getting on with it. So flying today will be a series of HHP's.

I want a first draft done by tomorrow so if you see me on here for long feel free to give me a shove!!

Off to put lunch on - jacket spuds & something - its too cold for anything else.

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Do you have a goerge foreman grill, that'd heat them up.

    Or remoska?

Kids and puppy have now been walked. DD moaning before we even got halfway up the hill that her feet were cold:rolleyes: So she managed to get her brother to piggy back her:rolleyes: Puppy loved playing in the snow. I was quite surprised how deep it actually is and it's still snowing here at the moment.
I'm signing off for a bit now. All lists totally complete for the whole week:j:T

Will pop back later and see if there's a weekend list.

    Hi,

Hope all is well i haven't caught up so feel a bit out of it.

Apart from being really boring the course is ok. Was really annoyed this morning i drove for 40 mins in the snow to get there and when i did there was one other girl there but no staff. I've left Ds2 at nursery the poor boy wouldn't have been very happy to be picked up after an hour and half.

I need to try and bring some order to my house by the time i've got home i've only managed the bare minimum. I'm having a new heating system so can't do much upstairs or in the dining room as i'd get in the way:rolleyes: .
