  • Morning everyone

Feeling much more positive this morning - have a day off, so why wouldn't I! Listening to Nina Simone I got aint got no, I got life, v uplifting. Thanks for your kind words Mudbath, I actually find hearing everyone's achievements really motivating.

And Kiwisaver, you made me laugh too. That's exactly the kind of thing I do - you are expecting to feel all smug and then get the shock of your life!

Main tasks of the day: polish porch (and add a plant to make it cheery) and empty boxes of bits and bobs from study floor.
  • Morning all
I've looked at todays list and I did that on Wednesday!!!!! I also did yesterdays list on Wednesday - no wonder I was so kn23ckered!!!! Back been playing up and chrome elbow killing - though the freezing cold doesn't help.

So today before work I've done:

    Drank 3 coffees!!!
    Aired and made bed
    ss kitchen
ss bathroom - I know I did it wednesday, but where does all the fluff and hair come from?
Sorted through car insurance paperwork to start looking for new prices, still had old paperwork for dh car that he doesn't have anymore so brought it up to work and shredded
    had shower
De-iced car yet again - am fed up of doing that!

    HHC 9.45 anyone?!?!

i've dropped the kids off at nursery and they were quite funny - they greeted everyone we've met on our way and one man actually stopped and talked to dd about the snow and all :D
and obviously when we were on our way it started snowing again ( ) - but it has turned into rain now so hopefully the temp won't drop and turn everything into ice!!!

so off for another :coffee: and then HHC!

    Morning all :hello:

Hugs etc all round as I've only managed to skim read so haven't caught up properly at all :o

DD was in a panic this morning, not only did I oversleep until 7.30 (funny thing is I got up at 5.30 to see if it has snowed :rotfl: No idea why as it wasn't forecast for us :o:rotfl: ) but she was worried that I was sending her into school in her own clothes when she hadn't brought a letter home about the fund-raising day for UNICEF. I explained that it was probably because 1) I work in the school so I knew the letter had come home and what the arrangements were, 2) Her teacher doesn't bother giving me the letters if they're whole school ones and given out on a day I'm there, like the parents evening one for next week, 3) she was in the cloakroom when they were given out. I promised her that if there was a problem the school could phone me and I'd take her uniform in and she could get changed, we got to school and everyone was in their own clothes :rotfl::rotfl: Good thing is that since I knew it was own clothes I managed to get all the washing done last night so tomorrow it will just be bedding and any bits (like pjs & underwear) that need washing:D

Today is my usual chaotic catch up day, but its not too bad in here so should be pretty easy, hopefully. I'll tackle the ironing tonight while watching my programmes. ;) Right, lets see how I can edit this list down to be applicable to me, but I'm not doing any extras.
