    food shopping
    last nights ironing put away

    nicki my oldest is having a change day, youngest isn't, well not that I am aware of but he's great at not bringing stuff home
    kiwisaver I laughed too :rotfl: just the sort of thing I would do
    Dusty thanks for the cards, they arrived on a day I was out and DP didn't tell me it was there!

    Well we have a sprinkle of snow, nothing too much only a few cm, agree with you embb it's not nice snow as it's frozen straight away. Kids both now at school, DS1s taxi time doesn't seem to be working out too bad as long as DS2, the dog and I are ready to go straight away. Dog had a good walk and a play on the field with a few other dogs, he did get a bit silly and ran onto the road at one point so I am going to have to keep a close eye on him with that.

    I am thinking of getting something as a thank you for the Beavers leaders, so unsure what to get, I don't know if they drink/eat sweets etc. I think I might see if there is anything planned with one of the other Mum's who has known them longer.

    Can't wait until after the weekend as I have lost my utility/where we eat to DPs junk for this weekends event and he's so busy with that his sanding mission has been left.

    I have no meetings etc again today, hooorah! I do have plenty of laundry to do, inc the clothes DS1 had yesterday which another child threw up on. So my list for today is

    [STRIKE]Pigpen's list [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Call Swift, see if any decision has been made phone back monday
    Call Westhouse and see what they are doing about the laptop, any progress made etc as much use as a chocolate fireguard! [/STRIKE]
    [strike]Online banking/emails/Freecycle stuff and sort post
    Sort cash out inc safe, savings etc [/strike]
    Tidy kitchen and wipe over
    [strike]Meal plan!
    Shopping list to go with meal plan - decide if I want to go shopping today [/strike]
    [strike]Crosscheck diary/calendar
    Empty DW and refill [/strike]
    Study time 2 hours
    [STRIKE]Laundry 2 loads[/STRIKE]
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:
    GC: £200

    I'm half way between Basinggrad & Newbury on the A339. We have snow. And apparently the M4 corridor (i.e. right here... ) is due another EIGHT INCHES later today!

    Hope you get there and back OK...

    You must be really near to my inlaws and DH's family :j

    I'm doing a baking morning - bread roll dough rising on top of the Rayburn, fruit cake and butterfly buns to make, onion soup simmering, yoghurt being made.

    Anyone want a HHC at 10:30 :confused:

    Froddington - thanks, it helps not going to work though! I normally get very little done on a Thursday.

    Flower - good to 'see' you on Facebook, do you mind if I put some more house photos on so I can pick your brains?

    Tag - glad you are feeling better - did you get my PM this time?

    WTG Sammie and Tag, give me half an hour and I will have everything done too!

    The boys are at school today but we have a few inches of snow over compacted ice and it is still falling so not sure what is going to happen later.

    I did most of the bathroom last night (because it was grim!) so not much left to do to finish todays list - just washing the mat and de-fragging the PC. It will be the first time ever I have completed a whole weeks tasks! Amazing what you can achieve when you are stuck in the house for a week.

    Once I have finished that I have a choice between sanding the downstairs loo/back hall so I can paint it bfore DH tiles the floor or putting some work into sorting the Playroom whilst the boys aren't here to interfere.

    HHC 10.30-11.00 anyone?

    Argh - look at the time - I should be in bed!!!

    Tootti - MIL is doing well, thanks for asking. She has bought herself one of those electric scooter thingys, and whips around on that. She lost a shoe while out on it yesterday, didn't realise it had fallen off her bad foot until she got around here and found it was missing, so the feeling on her left side still isn't what it should be.

    Here is my list for the next couple of days. Today was a public holiday, but I just lazed around, and even had a sleep this afternoon.

    My to do list will be for the next couple of days:

    Give suitcase back to MIL
    Write letter for MIL
    Spend 5 minutes in each room having a general tidy up
    Change all sheets
    Get business accounts up to date:
    *
    [strike]Sort all receipts[/strike]

    * Enter all bills
    * Get budgets up to date
    * Reconcile mastercard statement
    * Reconcile bank statement
    * Do January accounts
    [strike]Weekly menu[/strike]

    Grocery list
    Grocery shop

    Post loan phone back
    Recycling
    Baking
    Make relish with tomatoes from the garden
    Buy soak hose
    Sunday - go open homing :)
