  • Evening all

Another work day today - no flying to speak of. kitchen a mess, am procrastinating by reading thread. Mudbath you make me feel quite exhausted, I'm feeling a bit gloomy and would probably find an old bill instead of a voucher if I tried that trick!

Day off tomorrow so hope to catch up then.

DH told me this evening that his contract will probably only be couple more weeks - double whammy of no money and extra large item to dust every day looms. I should try and train him to do tricks like some of you seem to have managed.

Restaholic - massive hugs to you. I've only got loads of energy because I've done nothing for nearly two months. Now I can do stuff I feel fab but i'm sure the novelty will fade! I'm usually the first to find excuses and do as little as possible. Saying that, I'm shattered now so it's bed for me!

Night all and hugs to everyone xx
  • Evening All, welcome to all new to the thread and (((Hugs))) to all who needs them.

question: what do you all do for your nighttime routine?!?

I feed, bath (vitamins, brush teeth), story, bed LOs
lay out clothes (iron only if absolutely necessary and not done on weekend) for next day for me and DS including locate both sides of his shoes.
lay out DD’s buggysnuggle next to car seat.
Put nappy on changing mat so DH can remember to change DD night nappy before her morning P**.
Make sure breakfast things are clean and where they are meant to be.
    Run sterilizer.
Put dry ingredients for my smoothie in jug.
Finalise lesson plans for next day if not done on weekend or at school.
    Check/pack bag for school.
1 hr marking (some times skip this but shouldn’t)
Wake DH for work and make sure he gets out of bed on work nights.
Put out fruit for DS to take to nursery and me for lunch Sun night.
Empty nappy bin and put out garbage on Mon night.
Locate and put out front DS library book on Tue night.
Put sausage to defrost in fridge Thursday night.
Need to (used to) include declutter and vac/sweep LR floor.
Want to include HHE (manage 20 sit-ups once in a while)
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.
