Swiftcover Reporting Website

Options
After having my life virtually ruined by swiftcover, I have set up a website with reporting features in order to hopefully finally force the F.S.A. to do their job and regulate this shoddy company out of business.

You can visit it at http://www.organifume.co.uk

For anyone even considering getting a quote from them, please visit the website before you do. Thank you.

erm, not quite sure how to tell you this, but the forum page of your anti swiftcover website is showing google ads for.............swiftcover !!
All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.

You want to be careful. I can see you getting taken to court to be sued for libel.

Are they really this bad - I have just been quoted a mega price for my car insurance - and I am actually doubting whether to go ahead....!!

Is this site about Swiftcover just one person or lots of peeved punters?

Hi Minimike2, how can I be sued for libel when I am telling the absolute truth and can prove it?
Wutang, if you visit the site and download the 'Hall of Shame e-book, you will see just how many customers are 'Happy' they chose Swiftcover!

They are not that bad. Like any service provider or retailer, you are going to get stories. Some are bad service, others are misunderstandings and some are completely false. However, you rarely see people post nice things so it can distort the reality.

What are the Financial Services Authority going to do to an insurance company worth millions when they find out that there is this website that doesn't like them? Are they going to force them to shut down? No they don't have the powers, they could strike them off their regulatory list, but I'm sure they won't so don't waste your time

    And yes, this is libel
  • Aj3001, here is the definition of Libel:
    What is ‘libel’?

Libel is a written defamation. Defamation or "defamation of character," is spoken or written words that falsely and negatively reflect on a living person's reputation.

Please enlighten me as to how I can be guilty (In your eyes) of Libel?
Also could you please quantify your own understanding of Libel in relation to my particular case.
    Thank you.

Wouldn`t it have made more sense to hire a van for £20 a day for a few weeks , or even buy a runabout van for £500 rather than have no van at all and loose your business?
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

I don't know whether you have ever run your own business bestyman, but with ours the stock has to be replenished every day of the week and we were virtually breaking even and didn't have any collateral to fork out for a hire van or a 2nd hand one, otherwise yes of course we would have done.

In an ideal and fair world, Swiftcover would have honoured their side of the contract and just had the van repaired, but as I and countless hundreds of other unsuspecting customers have found out, that just isn't the case.
