Pulled out just before the hearing...what a surprise..not. !!!!!!
Great news Nagga, well done for standing firm and putting up a fight.
They should never have pushed it this far but sadly that's modern Britain....corrupt.0 -
Now I'm thinking about writing another letter to LBTH just to take the pi** out of them & have a little laugh.... What do you recon??? is it worth it or shall I let it be?
i think you know the answer - a waste of your time - they will bin it!
You might have more effect writing to your local Councillor if TH and expressing disgust.
If it makes ya feel even better - uncle Neil beat TH in person today at PATAS !!!! YAY, double celebration.
- and very well done for sticking with it and listening by the way.

Your welome guys & congrats on your win Neil.. That did make me feel better actually.
I don't live in TH I'm LBN not that they are much better, I could log a formal complaint I suppose, I will let you know if I do & I get any results.
I will be coming to you guys if I need any advice in the future. Hopefully I wont get a ticket again, but as Bogs says "modern Britain corrupt", anything is possible when money is involved.
Keep the good work up guys!!

Nag. i also got a somewhat rare agreement to entertain an application for costs as TH were judged to have acted 'unreasonably'.
when I say rare, this is because most people are overwhelmed by the sense of relief and don't bother asking!
You can make an application even if TH have withdrawn. You have 14 days but in your circumstance I'm unsure when that period starts - presumably when you were advised of the 'no-contest'.
costs are limited. There is no punitive compensatory element.
had you needed to attend then fares etc are covered and in some circumstances, loss of earnings to a limit.
for you it would be printing, postage, internet time if you have paid in a cafe for instance. anything like that.
even for a few pence reward it's a nice twist of the knife, as you seem to want, and i agree. Fun for the sake of a letter explaining why you think they acted unreasonably, vexatiously or frivolously.
