I found a lump of hair in a weightwatchers frozen chicken and mushroom meal.
It looked like the matted hair you get round a pony tail hair bobble  ..
I sent it to them after calling and they wrote back to say it was the compost stuff that the mushrooms grow in..
They sent me £10 vouchers. I am positive it wasn't mushroom stuff but as I had sent it to them I couldn't persue it any further0 -
Im quality control and auditer for a food production factory and a hair net or hat is required. Most major suppliers will only use factorys that have a high grade on audits. M&S are the pickiest people ever! (guessing theres going to be a few people telling us what they've found in M&S products now)0

I took my 2 boys and a friends boys ot McDs for breakfast and ds1 found a hair cooked into his scambled egg. I asked to see the manager who claimed that all staff wore hairnets, she agreed that it was a long black hair, I pointed out that we were all blond, and the hair was completely different texture, she had a snotty attitude and insinuated I planted it, but i pointed out that the meals were barely touched.
She offered to replace meals but we all felt sick so she slammed a refund on the table
when I got home I called head office about her attitude and they sent £20 vouchers, (I gave them away)
At least the kids always treat McDs as a last resort now and even then will only have chips, so its very mse0 -
I love how people assume certain hairs are pubic. When in all likelyhood they are chest or armpit hairs.
I had a hair in my red lobster shrimp platter and the waiter and the manager took it away and examined it, whispering to each other as if I'd planted it there. Hello, I have curly ginger hair, not straight black hair!0 -
Well, if I found something like that in a food product I'd (a) take a photo of it in situ, (b) put the offending item in a plastic bag (c) keep the packaging if possible so they could trace the batch number (I'd keep a note of this) and then (d) complain both to the shop where I bought it and to head office.
It does happen. Complain, kick their !!!!!! a bit and provide them with the info to tighten up their standards a bit. I'd also expect a refund for the item and some sort of modest compensation like a free meal or £10 in vouchers or something similar.Val.0 -
I found a meal in my hair once.
Out at sea and I guess my shipmate in the bunk above me felt unwell during the night...
He slept on the bottom after that.0
