Right got you now. OK you can but try but it is up to the individual OR's. IMO the £155 that someone was allowed was very generous and lucky. We usually see about £100ish.

Queen, why are you even worrying out this now.
You said you don't have to inform the OR about your change in circumstances, and she'll contact you at a later date, and unless you're going to tell her now that could be months away.

Well its been since November I have had 3 yrs of worrying sick about money so I guess its become the norm we will wait and see thanks for all your comments
  • don't worry Queen. You're doing the best you can for your family. Since the oR has instructed you to wait, then wait. When the time comes you'll have more facts to work with and you (we/MSE) can help pull it all together then. Just don't worry you've been given a bit of a breather so enjoy it

Thank you all for your comments spose I'm just worried that all our surplus will be taken and we will be left scrimping again like before when we had no income apart from Incapacity

I think some [hugs] are in order.

The OR won't take all the surplus, it will be 50% for £100 surplus, up to 70% if you have over £500 surplus. Please don't panic to much.
