Did you have holidays and birthday agreed on your original SoA, or have you just added them?

They don't have to allow either, if they feel you have enough in other areas they can disallow them.

no holidays and birthdays were included in the first soa with OR as there was a minus figure due to high mortgage payment but this has reduced alot so will they allow somthing for these or not

It's discretionary, no they don't have to, and usually don't allow birthdays/xmas, holidays sometimes.

I hope they do or life is going to be pretty grim, we have already had 3 yrs of this so I suppose another 3 yrs won't make much difference just thought if they did allow these then things might have been looking a bit better for us
when are we going to have any good luck?

Sorryto say this queen but from your I&E sheet above you have already had some luck,in the fact that your OR seems to have allowed those figures. I don't begrudge anybody anything, but there is a very fine line between your figures and what is actually nesseary in order to sustain a good standard of living.

You can try for birhdays/holidays but don't be suprised if they allow them but cut back on other allowances and you end up even worse off.

I am in no way being nasty believe me but i would say tread very carefully on this one.Dx

Have you been asked for a new I&E? If not I probably wouldn't volunteer one. I'm not sure where people stand whose mortgages have gone down?

I can't remember - did you OH also go BR?
