    Right I posted the command prop for the lappy, just checked the host comp and it says IP router not enabled. can someone take a look please.

    Also just looked and DNS servers do not match the ones on the tiscali homepage here

    I'm confused, are you now having a problem with a desktop (host comp?)

    no just the lappy, the desktop is fine. Just a low signal on the lappy, and god know why

    Before I do this, I have to be on the host comp don't I?

    Also all the forums I am looking on where they are having the same problem, they are recomending just buying an external antenna, can you recomend a cheap one that will be compatable with this model, I don't mind paying the money if it stops pi$$ing me off

    right i have downloaded the firmware, has it set itself up coz it wont let me open the icon it has put on my desktop, says its a "bin" file

    Yeah I think thats the next option, I was on for an hour with them just to set it up, if it comes to it, its going back to amazon :rolleyes:

    3. Open the Gateway’s Web-based Utility and click the Administration tab.
    4. Click the Firmware Upgrade tab.
    5. Click the Browse button to find the extracted file, and then double-click it.
    6. Click the Upgrade button, and follow the on-screen instructions.
