Have you read the reputation of Walmart?
Its all about money not teamwork.
Anyway since Asda have gone online jobs only where you cannot just ask people in stores its ridiculous.
Some jobs going at my local did not even show up on the website and I actually told Asda they needed to optimize the search engine a lot more.0 -
It's a highly competitve market out there. Don't beat yourself up for it.
I did a trial for a kitchen assistant a few weeks ago, left thinking this one is mine. I didn't hear back. Then I had an interview for a coffee shop about two weeks ago, best interview I've ever had. Ditto.
Not your fault. I've given up trying to guess how employer's minds work.0 -
Madeejit u got further than me...I used to be in Tesco management (for several years in fact, covering most areas within the supermarket/ off-licence and I left with an unblemished record, no sickness or controversy) and they recently re-sited a supermarket, for which, I filled in one of their bog-standard applications. I received a letter acknowledging my form and that due to the volume of applicants they would be in touch in due course. Four months down the line the shop has now relocated in a flurry of media hype re: how many jobs they created in the locality, and still no response with regards interview. Then the other day I received a letter which I can only describe as being written by a 2yr old which said that unfortunately they had no suitable vacancies for me at present?? Now, considering it didn't state on the application that you were applying for a certain position, how could they refuse me even an interview?...it beggars belief who actually gets these jobs....0

New Tesco Store just about to open in Fareham in a couple of months, They are naturally taking applications already, theres alot of transfer requests in from some of the Portsmouth stores though.. so either store is going to be needing staff, Weekend staff are always in need, no many seem to want to work it, but the pay is very good.0
