Asda and Tesco etc, do they offer term time work?

Yes, its called going 'seasonal'. Lots of people do it (mainly students) but its perfectly normal to do.

One thing you will find with most supermarket chains is that you have to work on one day of the weekend, even if its a 4 hour shift you have to do a bit at the weekend.

Your best bet is to ring your local store and ask to speak to the recruitment manager/coordinator who should be able to answer questions for your specific circumstance.

i left the store feeling great and thot i had it in the bag. only to receive a letter from then this morning tellin me, the standard of my application was very high and i am sorry to have to tell you on this occasion we wont b offering you a job??
