you can currently get 2 for 1 on the 2 days cruises to amsterdam (not sure of the ciggie prices there tho)
so that makes it £35 each for a ferry crossing overnight, then a day in amsterdam, then the overnight ferry back again. ferry goes from newcastle.
saw it advertised at barrhead travel but i believe it is the same on the ferry website.0 -
I used to fly from Edinburgh to Amsterdam in the morning and come back in the afternoon/evening. Booked well in advance with Easyjet so very cheap flights. Prices are too high there now to bother though ;-)0

I do a day trip to Reus, I get the plane from Stansted and come back to Luton. After you arrive at Reus you go outside the airport and catch a shuttle bus to Reus town centre(I think it costs about 2 euros one way), it's about 10 minute journey get the fags and a few clothes from the Zara etc and pop back on the bus to the airport:). The fags I buy are JPS Red(similar to Marlborough red) and they cost 23 euros a sleeve.0

I usually found Portugal to be the cheapest Western European country for tobacco. Cheaper than Spain though fewer airports fly there.0

Be Aware that if you go regularly especially for short stays you may get the lot confiscated (as happened to a friend of a friend which cost him 2k)0

Latvia, went in 2005 app 50p for 20."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".

Czeh rep £22 200 l&b.
Out of the countries where you are not restricted to 200 I think
this is the best deal.
Plenty of cheap budget flights into Prague, with the bonus of very cheap
beer and food during your stay.
From 1st jan this year the 200 limit was lifted from Poland although I have not been .0 -
My mum always brings me back 1KG of tobacco from Spain and that will last me 6 months. Somtimes less if my mates keep stealing rollies off me  We were in Amsterdam last summer and glad I took some tobacco with me. I was planning on buying a load there to save my mum a job when in Spain next but it was not that much different to English prices.
Definitley cross Holland off your list for cheap fags.
My recommendation is Spain but thats the only place we ever go for cigarettes so my advice is pretty biased LOLThis is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -
