Where's the best car boot sale (Leeds)

Hi, I've had a massive wardrobe clearout and have lots of decent clothes that I don't wear anymore, and am looking to sell them. Was thinking about doing a car boot sale to offload them, does anyone know any decent car boot sales in the Leeds / West Yorkshire area?

Thanks - I looked on there once before, got the details for one and went along. only to find that the details were all wrong, and we got there are the "start time" to find it had opened several hours earlier. very annoying!

There's one between Leeds & Harrogate on a big roundabout...Pannal? I used to go there to offload bits and pieces...tends to be slightly posher than other ones about Leeds so you get a bit more money

Theres a big open air market at cross green, pontefract road on a Sunday that accepts carbooters and is open all year, havent sold there in a few years but its very busy i always did quite well. The yeadon one is definately the best but as you say it doesnt open until end of March.

I attend Bingley and Otley every week to buy and seller attendance has been poor recently but there are still alot of buyers turning out.

I would recommend the Ilkley Grammar School Car Boots held on the A65 - held only monthly in the summer minths - huge attendance with people visiting as part of a day out. Also Leeds Airport - eveyr sunday from Spring to Autumn. Cross Green is so huge buyers do not have time to look at every stall and also has a lot of 'trade' sellers. All in all you may get your best prices at less regular car boot sales.

I like the Ripley Cricket Club Car boot (North Yorkshire) Near Harrogate and also Pannal, so can do two or three in one morning. There is also one at Ripon Racecourse which starts at 1.00.
