3 Increase International Charges - Reason to terminate?

If you read my post above you will see that additional services is defined in their glossary...

Basically as long as they don't increase the fixed monthly charge they can do what they like...

That is why when they call me tomorrow to tell me I cannot cancel without paying a fee, I'll be saying do you want my card number now to pay...

I really cannot stand this any more!

You realise they'll charge you your line rental x no of months left if you do that. The service may be bad but if your paying for it you my as well use it until at least the end of your contract then get rid of them.

Trust me I cannot take this any more...

I have waited nearly 3 months for OTELO now, and now I only have have 5 months left on my contract to buy out. If this pans out I will not be out of pocket in the end anyway

Anyway by the time I sell my 3 phone and get a free new phone the termination fee is now nothing to me.

I contacted 3's executive office who have taken advice from their legal department and as it international calls are an "additional service" they will not let me terminate my contract early without penalty. I have therefore received my PAC code and asked them to send me a bill and will taking the case up with OTELO when I have received 3's final position letter. :mad:

3's legal team are probably right, Roaming is usually considered an additional service. So they are right in saying you cannot terminate without penalty

I'm suprised they issued a PAC code without requesting payment up front for the remaining duration of the contract.
