Todmorden - it's just very slightly outside Greater Manchester, although it's actually in Yorkshire (the Lancs/Yorks border used to run through the centre of the town, and it still has a Lancashire postcode (OL14) and telephone std code).
You can see the line on the floor of the town hall where the border used to run, with a white rose on one side and a red rose on the other. I never really understood the rivalry, and consider myself a pink rose!
Edit - sorry that's all really dull unless you're from Todmorden :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Evening all
BB that seriously sounds like gallstones. I had major problems exact same symptoms as you about 6/7 years ago. Ive never felt pain like it. It all came to a head one night and went to hospital around 5/6 times and was told it was indigestion. After 3 weeks of not being able to eat (everytime I did I was in agony) and finally turning yellow with sever jaundice they took me seriously. One of the gallstones had travelled down my bile duct and got stuck. I still have the gallstones but have to be a bit careful. Its worth you getting them checked out, they will give you an altrasound.
Sorry that was a bit longI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

it's calmed down a bit now, just feels really bruised, but I'm not keen on eating any dinner, even though I'm feeling hungry! My mum suffered really badly and ended up having her gallbladder out which is why I'm thinking that's what it is....I fit the stereotypical profile (just about!) of fair, female, fertile, fat and forty.............
ok, the last bit is a bit scary to consider that I'm only 18 months away from..........sob........."Stay Wonky":D
