Lou!! :rotfl: If I had an OH, I would insist he attend all of those!! :D

I made Spanish chicken and potato rosti for dinner - it was gorgeous, and BOTH of my fussy little monkeys ate it. :T

The rosti was a bit greasy and fell apart though - anyone got the perfect recipe?

Sorry Snaggs, I dont even know what a rosti is:confused::o

There is a very large perk with the new college as it has a working kitchen and restaurant for the catering students so the food they make is sold as takeaway to the staff at cost price.

I have bought today a double portion of vegetable goulash (which will easily feed 4 with rice) for £1.50 which we will have tomorrow.

I may never need to cook again:T
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

ick.............molasses smells wonderful, but it's soooo sticky and the tin was enormous!! Amazing how much water 40 pints is, you don't think it's much until you are trying to fill a barrel from a tap and transport it and pour it in, my kitchen was resembling a round from It's A Knockout!

All done now, I won't be drinking any of it, but it usually keeps OH quiet! Let's hope it doesn't turn into a hissing, fizzing monster like the first ever batch I made did
