  • ok i have just tallied up how much i have been charged for delivery reports since having my contract ..... £42.94. So not happy at all.

Shays_mum how did you complain? I would prefer to put this in writing, is there an email address customers can use? I know from previous letter writing in relation to another matter, they have not responded or taking a bloody long time to respone.

Look forward to hearing from someone.

    Thanks

Well you could write to the Exec office, but to be honest complaining about something that's in the T&C's any way may not get you very far !

    But here you go...
    Orange Executive Office.

Waste of time writing to them, it wont get replied to until months down the line.

Best thing is to phone 0800 0797777 (courtesy of saynoto0870) usual number is 0870 8708888 - this is the retentions department.
Explain any issues you are having, and ask to speak to a manager if you dont get the result you are looking for (note, state that you do not want to speak to a "premier agent", as they have little more power than a normal agent, they are just glorified service agents)

I have had £30s added previously to my account, and just have had £60 added to my account today for another mistake they made. Its well worth having a go, regardless of the issue or blame, as they say the customer is always right.
  • thanks for that address and number do they have an email address?

They do, but don't bother. It's understaffed (complain to management) gets 1000's of emails a week and runs VERY behind. . .
  • Ok so i will put my complaint in writing and perhaps give the phone numbers above a go.

My argument is that when i started the contract i asked in store about all charges etc was not told about delivery reports not being included in my unlimited texts.

The other issue i have been having with orange is in relation to their care package. When i signed up for my contract i was told in store that orange care was included in my new deal, the lad in the store on the day was having some trouble with someone on the phone setting this up but i was assured this would be added and included in my package. They gave me a reduced tarrif as i handed in an old phone, kept an existing number and the shop over the road was offering me a better deal. I was also told they would throw in care for no extra cost.

I only realised care wasnt included short time ago when i had an offer in my bill asking me to sign up to their care package.

Basically i feel i have been mis sold a deal. When you ask what is included and what the total cost is and so on you expect to be told the correct info!

I have already written to Orange about the care issue and have received no response. I wrote a couple of months ago now.
Whenever i have phone i can never get an answer about anything. Unless you wish to pay your bill, then that seems to be easy enough for them. Lol.

Ok i may not get the result i would like, but some sort of repayment even if a small gesture would go along way and would also temp a customer to stay with them when my contract ends!

The stores are run as a completely separate division. You best bet is to contact the Exce office they have jurisdiction over both, the helpline can't do anything about what the store do or tell you as they don't have access to the systems they use.
  • Just realised this was happening to me:mad:, and found delivery report via my mobile:T,...go to..

    settings..
    sms messaging and texting..

and look for delivery report and uncheck it..If thats no good you can try adding ..rct.. to the start of every text you send..Also...phone orange and cancel your paper bills..saving you another £1.50 per month:j
