SB: I think I came home from the last scan I had (the confirmation one) to find a Mothercare brochure on the doormat. I do believe I purposely stood on it on the way in ;)

    Sami: Please don't ask! :o Tomorrow night's job.. ;)

I'm sure we will have some knitted things coming our way.. My Grandma is a very good knitter and my Mum tries her hardest but doesn't attempt anything too complicated - will be blankets from Mum, cardis from Grandma!

I think it'll be tshirts, zip up cardis, jeans and combats for a boy and pretty little dresses (which I wouldn't wear myself!) from Vertbaudet for a girl :D

My fave things for Chris were dungarees, he had some beige cord ones with Roo on them, so cute I bought them in 2 sizes :D

Random thought whilst I was washing my hair.. Krystaltips, how are you getting on with your new shorter haircut? :)

Every few years I seem to have six inches chopped off my hair and completely restyled then let it grow again. It's currently down to my bra strap so I'm thinking it's time for a drastic cut - then it's got time to grow long enough so I can clip it up and forget about it when baby is here! :D

Going to go to bed with a hair mag and look for ideas... Night night all xx
  • I know I haven't posted for a while on this thread but thought I would update you that I had my baby boy by emergency section on 21/1/09 @ 28 weeks pregnant due to placenta abruption and he weighed in at a massive 1lb 15ozs . I am pleased to say he was only on the ventilator for 2 1/2 days , he then moved onto CPAP for 6 days and he has been breathing on his own since 5pm Friday night and was moved out of Intensive Care and into High Dependency on Saturday afternoon and he is now weighing 2lb 1.5ozs

Here is a link to some photos if you're interested . http://s126.photobucket.com/albums/p83/natalie1974_photos/Thomas/?albumview=slideshow

PS. the pics don't really do him any justice , he is beautiful really !
Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
    Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !

Well I kept all the knitted stuff together apart from one as that one is the only one I've ever used :D sounds like a tongue twister!
I'm not a fan of knitted I've already got rid of some rather hideous ones I just kept the decent ones "just in case" :o

I'm afraid I'm too into dressing my kids in trendy mini-me stuff :o
Same here, Bubs already has a pair of Rockport boots :o
I dont dress them in tracksuits though, that for OH and I is a big no no.
We do want to get a knitted cardi for coming home in but noone we know knits
    :j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j
