  • I don't like having workmen in either,Unless i have another adult at home with me,But my meters are under the stairs in the cupboard where my pram collection lives (lol i have a twin pram, a single buggy and a mutsy with all the accessories under there- It takes about 20 mins to find the meter hehe!) recently, i just say oh i'm sorry i can't empty the cupboard for you to access the meters and i'm pg!
If google doesn't know it, how should i?
  • Random question that has nothing to do with babies BUT...
I have been pricing flights to Newcastle for the easter holidays as I have family there and they have invited us over to stay to save us on accomodation, and I was wondering what there is good for a 6 year old in the area?

I have been loads of times and always end up spending the entire holiday at the metro centre !!
Went to Lightwater valley once but DD doesnt like sitting in cars for very long, so that might be out of the question

We want to take her away just the 3 of us before bubs arrives as a little treat :o

My OH is asleep on the chair, I'm not really taking to him coz he refused to get me the cherries out of the fridge :( apparently "I've been at work today" (a half day) means he is incapable of doing anything else today

You might get some helpful answers in the Parent Club as at least 3 of the regular posters in there live in the Durham area

Is she one for a bit of culture? I remember enjoying looking around the Cathedral and visiting Beamish (sp?) I have family up there so our trips were about seeing everyone in the time rather than seeing the sights

Shes not overly cultured but she likes nature, so walking around gardens or forests , things like that would keep her happy for hours,
Or saying that a swimming pool would do the same thing :rotfl:
