I've got a countdown on my desktop at work.. 100 working days until mat leave starts :D

I will get one of them but a bit premature for me don't you think?!!!

If I can't wait to see the MW imagine what I'll be like when I've got my scan booked! Finding it hard enough to keep my gob shut now :rotfl:

I've just finished my tea.. half a steak and mushroom pie, big pile of chips, peas and swede and carrot mash which was left over from Christmas dinner (my dad froze it for me!). Yum yum yum :D

OH has told a mutual friend I'm eating for six.. cheeky sod! :o

Artic Roll for pud in a while, methinks :)

MW in less than 2 wks - how sad am I? Crossing off the days on my High School Muscial WallPlanner!!

I used to put all our personal appointments on a wallplanner until I saw my sister standing for about 10mins reading every single entry!!.

I used a diary after that :rotfl:.

I had pasta, cheese sauce (not ASDA's own!!) and chicken - weird but nice!

My boss sometimes uses my PC so can't risk having one one there until I say anything!

Sadly, I do actually love my job - hate the patients and the complaints, the GP's and staff can be a nightmare to manage but other than that it's really rewarding hitting targets and stuff. Our org does a black tie awards and dinner event in June and this year I plan to win Surgery of the year and manager of the year - and be showing lots by then!!!

    My job:
Good bits: the staff in all other depts, the pay, the project work
Bad bits: the staff in my dept, the filing, the record keeping, too much boring stuff (and the lack of company maternity pay!)

I love it when I get to work for other people but my manager's keep putting a ban on that and having a strop because they don't want to share me. Then, they do like they did today and volunteered me for something, saying I was really good at that kind of thing, and sent the email to half the other managers on site - so now they'll all be wanting me to do similar for them.. which will result in more strops from my managers! :wall:

ETA: Another good thing.. the appreciation I get from other depts for the work I do for them. Fav phrase seems to be "thanks, you're a star!".. I'm used to that from the "old school" bunch, but one of the young (25yo!) factory guys said it to me the other day! :o Roll on the collection for when I leave.. hehe
