OK ...irrelevant to this thread (as changing times combined with a handy recession are making my life more complicated than it needs it needs to be).....I apologised to the M + W boys on PN's Starbucks thread...and they haven't seen it.
I understand that 'Hot' threads need posting on...they are A Priority Task........ but I feel really, really Bad.....as I didn't intend to offend. (An accidental rhyme)

But I have stalked them onto this thread.......so will you accept my apology?

    Please, pretty please......

fc123 - we have seen it. In my case I didn't feel it necessary to say anything, and actually think you called it right in your original message. Too much willy waving and spoiling threads for my part, I speak for no one else.

For much of the time however I do try to make my joke at least relevant, and if it undermines a stuffed shirt or a racist, or some other opinion I disagree with - then so much the better.

But I am certainly not deserving of any kind of apology.

hubby popped into our local shopping centre this morning to have his hair cut , the shops were busy and every hairdressers had a queue of people waiting
I work in hobbycraft and we're busy , I spent 2 hours on the till yesterday and the majority of people weren't just spending a few pounds

Unlike mewbie, I plan to get more and more stupid and ridiculous in a direct correlation with the worsening state of the world economy.

Are you directing an apology at me or other people FC? I don't see any reason whatsoever for you to apologise for anything to anyone, so I'm not accepting it even if it was directed at me. Sorry.

Just for the record, I won't be doing any 'willy waving'. Well, I obviously will in the privacy of my own home. And in well secluded public places.
  • im a pub licensee, and business is down severely at moment, some days about £600 down on average of £2000 for previous years! Odd thing is we are having incredibly busy Saturdays probably about £700 up on an average of £3000 but this still doesnt make up for the rest of the week.
We seem to think its customers going for one big night out whilst the moneys tight!
£5000 debt cleared thanks to MSE advice :money:

Maybe he is finishing at the same time as usual but is using his free time to indulge in a bit of park-based cider drinking and soft drug use? Kids these days: you can't trust 'em.

On another note, when I have a real craving for a pair of luminous green XXXL snowboarding shorts with blue leopards printed on them no other shop quite hits the spot like TK Maxx.

the only people I see drinking out are benefit scum bags. their salary never drops. they are the best placed to weather the recession.

these people should be forced to work for nothing for food.

they are scum of the earth.

Aaahhh see you are generalising again The White Horse...starting to sound like a broken record though.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
