i use the scart bit that came with the 360 and plug the 3 plugs into it; the red, white and yellow

You do realise thats the worst quality picture because its COMPOSITE only (1 signal) ~ True scart cables use RGB (3 separate signals)

I believe he's talking about the little scart converter, where the composite cables plug into the back of the scart plug.

Yes he is. But its still composite video only (Not true RGB)

yep but then my tv is a rubbish lidl 1, but if i had a better tv then yes i would use a better cable

Thanks all, just wanted to report that I'm now using the HDMI cable and everything's working fine, can use Call Of Duty, Gears of War, even Rayman's Rabbid Rabbits!
