XBox PAL 600 question

I've had another look and the first thing is that the game won't play at all unless I switch to the PAL 60 mode, and then it's unplayably blurred.
I've only got three plugs in the TV because there are only three holes in the panel at the front. The other set of three leads just hang down from a T-piece on the wire.
i use the scart bit that came with the 360 and plug the 3 plugs into it; the red, white and yellow0 -

Thanks all, just wanted to report that I'm now using the HDMI cable and everything's working fine, can use Call Of Duty, Gears of War, even Rayman's Rabbid Rabbits!0
