sorry alienrik, yes im surprised as well, there is a list of games which only work on 60Hz which is daft imo, yes t is, the pal 60Hz is an option for tvs that support it, from what ive read it isnt all thats its cracked up to be

50Hz is standard for Pal tv (English)
Ive NEVER heard of PAL 60 Hz before so wondering if its a missnomer (60Hz is the American NTSC standard which has a LOWER resolution than PAL)

yes id figured its what americans use, theres also some games that when set to 50Hz are jerky and unplayable but if you change it to 60Hz then its fine to play, i dont see the point of 60Hz be honest

Ive had a quick look elsewhere. PAL 60 is in fact NTSC 60Hz (480P~smaller resolution),as I thought

Even though the horizontal resolution is 480 pixels it is still PAL, it's the colourspace that defines PAL or NTSC.

i have just looked at my copies of gears of war and halo 3. they are both 60hz and pal. it is suprising that 60hz games wont work on somebodies tv because 60hz games work on my 7 year old portable tv that isnt even hd. i remember a message flashing up when i first put on a 60hz game about needing a tv that can handle 60hz. i just clicked ok or whatever it required me to click and it and all 60hz games have worked ever since on any tv i have played them on.

I've had another look and the first thing is that the game won't play at all unless I switch to the PAL 60 mode, and then it's unplayably blurred.

I've only got three plugs in the TV because there are only three holes in the panel at the front. The other set of three leads just hang down from a T-piece on the wire.

It down to wether your tv will accept an NTSC signal (Most do)
And youll probably need a scart cable or s video cable for it to work

You have to plug them in the back of the tv. Your tv has component and vga inputs. It's all in the instruction manual.
