Morning all

Still feeling pants, still deaf in my left ear, still coughing like mad, on the other hand....

DH's job is safe (company buy-out was declined), DD2 is off to meet one of her favourite authors today, DD1 actually spoke to me this morning rather than grunted at me and my daff's look pretty.

Toto - She's growing so fast, I really do think you should share nicely.

Tea was a mess last night, I should know better than to try and cook when I'm feeling poorly, the result was a very soggy toad in the hole and roast potatoes that wouldn't go brown....nice!!!

Can't be bothered being at work today, still coughing (that's about 6 weeks now :rolleyes:), and was happily pottering round the house this morning looking at my chilli plant seedlings etc and didn't want to come out.. sigh..

I'm at work today and then off to a meeting in leicester straight after. May even knock off early to try to beat the rush hour traffic.

:j :j :j just had a phone call from some electrical contractor. We are getting new central heating in our house...! There are only 12 Housing Association houses in our village so they are running a small pilot scheme with us to install brand new solar powered central heating system as a green initiative... we currently have costly storage heating and it's expensive and a PITA to run...

This is such a coincidence. We were chatting about 'The Secret' last night if you remember and I was very ininformed about it. Well. a lady has just been in to order it and my wholesaler now stocks it. How amazing.
She was also buying a bible and was looking for a church to go to. She is having chemotherapy and started to cry. Bless her. I feel so lucky.
