  • Hi,
Not sure if you can use points to buy flights, but if you buy from tescotravelstore you can earn clubcard points on your flights, £3000 will get you 3000 points which is a lot of points. You can get them on hotels on site also.

Just received my CC statement this morning, and thought I'd have a look on the website to see if there were any new restaurants participating.

Was very surprised to see that they are now stopping the "one reward token works anywhere" thing - all the restaurants I looked on had the same message e.g. Pizza Express says:

To help our restaurant partners manage the popularity of this reward, tokens ordered after 3 February for PizzaExpress will be printed with the restaurant's name and only these tokens will be accepted at PizzaExpress.

So be careful what you order now, we've previously ordered just any old thing eg. Pizza Express and used them at Cafe Rouge, or ordered Cafe Rouge and used them for a day out. This will no longer be the case!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the warning - had seen that days out tokens couldn't be used in restaurants soon. It's going to take away any spontaneity of having a stash of vouchers in the drawer.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly! I like just having the vouchers there and if we feel like say Cafe Rouge, we go there - or if we feel like a day out, we do that! Now I'm going to have to think carefully before ordering any vouchers, and decide exactly where the kids are likely to want to go! Bit annoying methinks... especially so soon after they devalued the vouchers to 3x CC value! :(
  • I also noticed you now have to trade in £5 denominations not £2.50, so have to save up more. :(
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

I "believe" that they may well be planning another double up in March time. OH and 5p off a litre starts again tommorow

Anybody else heard about the possibility of the airmiles double up? I know it was done last year but only for new people

    hello,
i did my tesco online shopping to be delivered on friday evening between 8 - 10pm. the driver duly turned up on time with the good but without a reciept and said there was a problem with the payment so i needed to call customer services before delivery which i did. on speaking to the customer services he informed me he could not get in touch with the local store and therefore could not tell why the payment was not processed. so the driver had to take my shopping back! i have been online shopping with tesco for over 5 years. this has never happened to me. can anyone advise as to what i can do?

Call the store directly? The "Store reception" which you got through to really is pointless (I know that's the one on the receipt) :(

Can you call tesco Dotcom? If it's a payment issue then that's through DotCom and not actually the store :S

Very bad - they should have contacted you before to sort it out - not when the food was in the van!
Thought the payment would have been done centrally anyway - not at the individual store?
Been shopping online for yrs and not had this.
Surely they should have sorted payment out first??
    Complain.

  • The shopping surely wouldnt have been packed into the van if the payment hadnt gone through? Our tesco receipt shows the time the payment was processed at our local store and shows up on statements as if we purchased in the local store.

I hope you got it sorted - cant believe they put the shpooing in the van without it being paid for!

I hope they are compensating you, terrible service, weve used them for nearly 4 years
