    Aqua will prob accept you, Vanquis did

    nah, don't bank on it mate - not going on the state of my credit file - although I made a point of putting my citi and boi GOLD cards in there as BT's so they knew I had mainstream cards LOL - dunno if that helps like?

    I would call them and ask for a status
    Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
    Credit Cards - Barclaycard £2000 - Silver Card £1300 - Flybe £7500 - HSBC £1000 - First Direct £2500 First Direct Gold £3000

    well yea thats why I put the word citi gold and not just citi as issuer! Likewise with BOI - so they knew I had proper cards.......

    I also listed vanquis so they knew a sub-primer had accepted me :-)

    I'll keep you posted but I doubt i'll get one, they are meant to be strict aren't they? Have you applied? anyone got any aqua stories to tell?

    Here's one for you...

    If you have a mainstream card, and ruin your credit rating by defaulting/ccj etc, will they allow you to keep the card?

    Do credit card companies get fed your credit report monthly or something?

    when now? they won't be open mate - i dont ring them, they can write to me if they want to.... I aint desperate, like I said its more for my CAG excercise right now but hoping my last letter to equifax will kick them into gear and remove the data that aint mine .......

    Aqua accepted me with 6ish searches, Vanquis accepted me with around 9. :p

    yes you can keep the card but each lender can close it or reduce the limit to a small amount whenever they decide to - I guess they would do this after conducting a financial review so as long as you dont request an increase in borrowing they shouldn't find out..... :confused:

    I had an Aqua story where I won the appeal and then they cocked up so didn't want to pursue it anymore
