An application pack will be posted to you or the primary applicant (if you are not the primary applicant) and should arrive in the next 3-5 working days.
When you receive your application, please check that all the mandatory fields (marked with a red triangle) have been completed. Please sign and return your form to us along with ONE of the following original documents:
- Your most recent monthly UK bank statement
- A utility bill (not older than 3 months)
- A local authority tax bill (valid for the current year)
- A tenancy agreement
Recently moved to the UK?
If you have recently moved to the UK and are not on the electoral role, we also recommend that you send us ONE of the following:
- A certified copy* of your current signed passport
- A certified copy* of your valid UK photo driving licence
- A certified copy* of your National Identify Card (if you are an EEA national)
Overdraft facility?
If you would like to make use of the Citibank overdraft facility, please send us your most recent payslip.
Interest paid gross?
If you are eligible to have your interest paid in gross, please complete the R85 form and return it to us with your application form.
Transferring payments?
If you have chosen to transfer your salary and/or Direct Debits and standing orders to your new Citibank account, you will shortly receive a letter asking you to confirm which payments are to be transferred and when you would like them to apply.

If you have taken advantage of applying for the Citi(r) / AAdvantage(r) Visa Gold Card, please ensure that you complete the appropriate sections on page 4 and sign and date the application form.
