I rang Vanquis. Chose the Existing Applications option, then Change Or Modify Application, then got a message saying ''Vanquis bank tried contacting you today. Vanquis will try and contact you in the future'' then the line hung up.

Weird considering I rang from my mobile and it was automated.

Just now. They're closed I think. Can't see why it would say 'Vanquis tried contacting you, well try again in the future'. Maybe it's a standard message.

Could someone else ring and see if they get the same message using option 3-2-1. I'd appreciate that very much.

Ring them betweem 8am and 8pm.

They may of lost your application. They lost my Dad's and he had to re-apply.

Check this before re-applying though as they treat them as duplicate applications and remove them.

Morning all - well I have called and closed my Choice account and Littlewoods , as i hardly use them and I was finding that because between them I had built up a credit limit of £7k , which was held against me with credit card providers...

Just got a £1000 limit increase from HSBC credit card. Only had the card 10 weeks!

Received the Aqua credit agreement today saying I've been accepted. Going to return it today so should have my first credit card in a few days. :beer:

I also phoned Vanquis. They said ''Your application is still being processed''.

Those anyone know if Vanquis have an online site where I can register and payonline and see statement and whatnot?
