marc.faulkner wrote: »Hi All,
Just a quick question re: Monument card - what are they like when it comes to limit increases?
I've had my card for 2 months now - spending to just below the limit each month and then clearing in full the day that the bill arrives.
I know some issuers will "review" the limit after 3 or 6 months, do monument do this?
Cheers,
In short the answer is no.
Monument are a sub-prime lender as you know, so they don't tend to increase limits as it would increase the risk. Some people have had the same limit for years, so having it a couple of months would probably be too early for them to be looking to increase a limit.
Any increases are small (around £250 at a time), but they don't happen all that often and are never at customer request (unless it is a dire life or death emergency).
They've also had to make some redundancies recently and their phone team in Crawley is now drastically reduced and lots of projects have been scrapped.
I'm not sure where limit increases fits into their plans at the moment.0 -

Next question?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -

Just responding to Louise's post about her 80s CDSince when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
