never-in-doubt wrote: »each one will hold info mate. maybe you miss the point, they are classed at credit agencies the same as equifax/experian etc but they do not hold credit related info. Each does and serves a different purpose and therefore you should do a sar. for the sake of a tenner (5 x £2) its silly not to.
they hold data about everyone - everyone! thats what we want to know, exactly what data each one reports.
for instance Synactics use the parcel delivery scam so they report on lost parcels etc and experian DA report dodgy home insurance claims etc.
do you follow?
Oh I thought they would only hold data if your a suspected fraudster.
Experian DA - Home insurance - What else?
Synatics - Postal Fraud - What else?
Hunter/ CIFAS- Application fraud
CIFAS - Staff Fraud, Insurance Fraud etc.
CIFAS are the biggy. IMO.0 -

I've since spoken with both Experian and Equifax since the revelation of this sinister and shady business regarding 'hidden data' that maybe held amongst the CRA's.
When I spoke with Equifax yesterday on the phone questioning some data on my credit report, I asked if there were any CIFAS warnings or similar adverse showing on my file.
The CSA replied...NO
I then asked if there were any HIDDEN CIFAS or similar markers (not visible to me, but to a potential lender)
The CSA replied ...NO.
I then went through the same process with Experian.
When I asked if there were any CIFAS warnings or similar adverse showing on my file.
The CSA replied....NO.
I then asked if there were any HIDDEN CIFAS or similar (not visible to me, but to a potential lender)
The CSA paused...then referred me to look at the CIFAS section on my report?
I repeated the question - and was told to refer to the FAQ section of my Credit Expert report.
Sounds like something may not be quite right with Experian and my Credit Expert file.
...Prob reason why I was declined for Studio account and Vanquis card, maybe??:rolleyes:0 -
Good morning peopleSince when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
