No Louiser I'm not. I can't believe how you managed to get all of those three cards with un-satisfied defaults.

Sutton, you have to be on the electoral roll - that makes a huuuuuuuuuuge difference!!!! Get on there quick!!

Also the satisfied defaults will make a difference. FWIW if you defaulted in March 2007 and you cleared the debt in May 2008 (like me ;) ), when they update your credit file it will actually say that you settled in March 2007, so it looks like you settled it earlier than you did. Don't forget my defaults are for like £4k each which is a big sum and I can get credit. So there is light at the end of the tunnel. At the mo I have:

    Cap 1 - £1600 limit
    Vanquis - £750 limit
    Flybe - £1000 limit
    Halifax Classic - £1900 limit
    MBNA - £3100 limit
    Amex - £3100 limit
    Next - £600 limit
    Littlewoods - £800 limit

Don't blame you, I love dogs ;) . We have two cocker spaniels they a mad.

ooohhh, we're considering a cocker spaniel, but have read they are incredibly energetic - we're looking for a dog we can walk off lead, and they wont go chasing a scent or an animal - do they conform to that?

    I can get Littlewoods, I have 3 Littlewoods accounts £600 x2 and a £250 limit with Littlewoods direct. I have Jacamo with a £500 limit. T-mobile contract.

I can't get a credit card or a bank account with an OD.

Sutton, why aren't you on the electoral roll? I'm 99% sure that's why you can't get a cc. Are your family on the roll at your house?

No they aren't, I'm not on the Electoral Roll because we have just moved.

The weird thing is Sammy, my Brother, Mum and Dad all have Vanquis cards, bank accounts with OD, but there credit is no better than mine.

That is weird - cos with your defaults that shouldn't be a major problem because they're not huge amounts

    Lenders work in mysterious ways..............:o

I know, I'm totally at a lose. I have 24 searches with Experian, 18 with Equifax. I have 13 accounts including 2 defaults on Experian. 0 Aliases, 0 Public records 0 Gain 0 CIFAS.

Do aliases make a difference? As I have a few due to companies spelling my name wrong in the past
