evening guys and gals,
update on the aqua card fraud jobby of hubbys today.
i ws right his card has been used!!!! he keeps it in his wardrobe it hasnt been used since sept by him, and he has only used it three times in totl since he got it in aug 08. has never used it on the net.
11 transactions done 6 of which they allowed and which took him over his limit, all done over the net on downloading tunes ect, then today at dinner something to do with booking a train in london he was told.
he has been refunded each transaction but what i find very strange is wouldnt you need the last three numbers off the back to use it online or over the phone??? and had he tried to use it its a sure bet they wouldnt have let him go over limit!! this card hasnt left his wardrobe since sept and they even asked who he lived with.
they asked him what the last three digits were on his card and i had prewarned him not to give that info out so he didnt but the lady was quite understanding and asked him other security questions but you just cant be too careful.
so in a nutshell neither of us can understand how this has happened and how someone has got all the info ect and the secyrity numbers when its been in his wardrobe. am i or are we missing something??self confessed 80's throwback:D
sealed pot challenge 2009 #488 (couldnt tell you how much so far as i cant open it to count it!! )0 -
