I requested an Empire Stores catalogue 10 days ago. I had the confirmation email saying my applic for a catalogue had been accepted and it'd arrive in 7 to 10 days. The same day, my mate applied for an Empire Stores catalogue and he got the "sorry" message that he was not approved for a catalogue. However my catalogue has never arrived. I've rung up Empire Stores who can find no record of me. I checked Equifax and Empire Stores did credit check me. Should I just apply for the Empire Stores account now????

Try Littlewoods. Just request a catalogue and see if they have pre-approved anything.

It says at the bottom of the page when it tells you how long the catalogue will be.
