  • good morning all
would like to declare at £146. Have a couple of pounds left for fresh bread etc. Sorry but I will not be able to catch up with everthing that is posted on this thread anymore as it is toooooo long. Suppose that is a good thing as more people are trying to control their grocery shopping, but I am also worried that I might miss something.icon9.gif Just don't have that much time to sit at computer.
Anyway will pop in and out when I can. Would like to aim for £150 in March. Good luck to all.
It takes a long time to eat an elephant and I'm doing it a bite at a time!!!
  • Morning. I managed a no-spend day yesterday. I have bought bread and milk today. I need some fruit but will get that tomorrow.

Morning all. There is currently 78p left in my Feb budget, to last til Saturday. I really shouldn't need anything else til next Monday though - only thing that might run out is fresh milk, but there are 2 cartons of longlife in the cupboard so they will have to do! I'll not declare til Saturday though, just in case...

Mrs M, can I go for £300 in March, please? I have a visitor for 4 days next month, but we will probably eat out for 2 of the evenings she is here which I won't count as part of the GC budget. I've done a meal plan for next month and made a list of all of the meat we'll need, so I will set about sourcing this free range and local at the start of next month.

You know, I don't think I've ever been this organised! I'm a changed person since discovering the Grocery Challenge :D

I haven't posted this month but have kept up with reading most of them, I would like to declare for Feb £336.62, pleased with this as I am under again (2 months in a row).

Don't want to go back to my usual £400 month so will try £375 for March please.

Off now to try and start a meal plan for March, we should really have enough meats in the freezer after the trip to a wholesale butcher.

Good luck to everyone and see you on the March thread!
