Hi Sal, I havent seen the offer but will have a look tonight now that I should have proper graphics on mi laptop. Well my story. Today in the way back from Plymouth on the bus, there was a lady. She was on the phone and we was having a rather 'vocal and loud' conversation on this phone. She was talking about debt repayments. She apparently wasn't embarrassed by it as I am sure the entire bus heard. I think she was talking to her OH about CC companies hassling them, you the phonecalls demanding payment or we'll come round and nick your clothes off your washing line and she was saying things like 'We have told them how much we can afford to pay back, its what we agreed but they wont listen and its doing my !!!!ing head in' She was extremely stressed and angry. I glanced over to look at her and she was visibly upset and clearly severely stressed by it all. So I thought,'Hey I can help this woman and I can give her some help, help that she perhaps doesnt know is available and I am sure that if she listened to me her life would become instantly 100% more bearable' But before I could even consider approaching a completely stressed out person but who was also a stranger in a strange part of the world for me, she got up and got off. I was really gutted and I contemplated getting off at next stop, walking back and saying 'Hi you dont know me, and I hope you dont mind but I couldnt help overhear the problems that you appear to be having with debts' But I didn't, and now I wish I had got off and walked back to see, I am sure I could have really made her day and a difference. Im really mad now grrrrrrrrrrrrr. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Right I have another question. With the impending arrival of babby lenny number 2 we are thinking of appropriate transport. We have 2 cars which are at the age were a repair can totally blindside you and cost a fortune and are therefore thinking of getting a newer/brand new car. Now obviously we dont have any capital to use but would have some if we sold the 2 cars, probably not more than 3K. Now my OH is giving up her job on completion of her maternity leave which means she won't be able to get credit. I certainly cant get credit , I cant even get a 50p overdraft with Lloyds lol and with the way credit is at the moment it is going to be so difficult. So what I have proposed to OH is that we lease a car. Leasing is something I have been thinking about for some time now, and is in actual fact not a bad option if you can get a good deal. But, I still think because they do a credit check for leasing, that leasing may not be an option either. DOes anyone know if Credit Unions offer any kind of service for Car Leasing. I think I will phone the leasing comapny too to get an idea. Does that sound clear? This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
