    afternoon all :D

don't know why, but I feel really positive and bouncy today :D

just a normal day really, but it's nice to work with positive people, they have been taking an interest in the teaching, which has been nice to feedback how it has been going. Will need to have all the t's crossed etc when it gets to my observation though, the amount of detail for what is needed is a bit mind blowing.

Had my tax code for next year, which includes them taking my AQA tax each month from this year. It's going to be £65 per month I'll lose so I need to make sure I cover that in some way.

Going to get my weekly teaching admin. done this afternoon.

My salary was as pants as I thought it would be - £680 after tax, but hey, I'll survive.

    Hi BB!
I'm feeling pretty positive today too!

At least it's a short month in Feb.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I'm also feeling pretty reflective today.

10 years ago today, I had a life changing experience - a good one I hasten to add, which has shaped many aspects of the way I think and some of the decisions I've taken over the years.

I think that what it's taught me, whilst thinking it all through this morning at work, is that you can never even second guess what is around the corner, positive, or challenging in life so it's best to embrace it all and even if it feels that life is not good, it's about deciding to turn it into a positive experience by working through it rather than giving up.

    OK, mad woman waffle over.............

It is an epiphany not mad..the good thing is that you have no regrets over it, which means it was obviously the right path for you:D :A

Lovely place...v v expensive now. Nice pubs though. I think we could all trace history back and see if Familys have met in previous lives. My maternal Grandparents are from Coalville and Derby.

I'm in Coalville but a Londoner by birth.

no, I don't have 1 regret. Apart from it not happening sooner! But then, if it had happened sooner, the journey would have been completely different, so it may not have been as good.
