Went to GP, got some MORE painkillers and I need to go for another xray, this time on my hip. The only problem is the pain meds make me a bit doolally and I can't drive. How am I supposed to get to the hospital?

I do sometimes but top tip if you're ever down here during the week - avoid it like the plague, all the local schools go on field trips up there, for geography lessons to study the "strata" of the cliffs, usually groups of 20 - 30 kids :eek:Don't Take Life too Seriously - Nobody gets out alive :rotfl:0 -

When I broke my arm one New Year's Eve in Aberdeen (and no I wasn't drunk - I'd been working (at Bar Ici's Maz)) the hospital wouldn't let me stay in overnight whilst waiting for op theatre. Nope - at 4am they gave me 3 painkillers, wrapped my arm in cotton wool, sent me home and told me to be in for 9am for the manipulation... I had to geta bus in the next day as I was so skint I couldn't evn afford a taxi...
Oh and If you do catch Bean can you pop across to Shrewsbury and show my Mum and Dad:p26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Hi Luc....question, I think you are the one to ask about Tax stuff.
Mother got her compensation cheque today ( £6400 for tripping over a dodgy doormat at hotel ) and is worried that she would have to declare it for Tax and that it may count against her rent rebate and C Tax benefit.
I dont think it will. Is that your area? Pepe x:D stay wonky
