OMG! I am like oooh Jinky and Maz have spoken to little ol' me! You are almost celebs in my eyes...

Anyway I actually have a serious question to ask Lucifa if possible - I saw that you had recently used Overpride - I used it last week for the first time and it won't go! The doors and inside of the over are still white no matter how many times I wash it down and every time I use the oven it smokes and stings my eyes! Did this happen when you used it or do I just have to persist in trying to wash it all off?

SO - I'm nota celeb, just a cleaner then eh???? :p

Mine washed off no problem - i used a wet tea towel (bigger so less wringing out needed)and cold water (stops suds forming) and just made sure I rinsed it between thoroughly. I know its all gone because I cooked in the oven last night and there was no smell at all.

Are you sure you didn't use Dulux One coat instead?

Mmm with me that is a possibility! Mind you the ovenpride was over three years old, bought pre-MSE days, so perhaps it had gone off

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
